POSITION SUMMARY
This position will operate all processes within the assigned areas of responsibility at the Seminole Gas Processing Plant within compliance of process safety management, environmental, health and safety regulations. It will be contribute to the continuous safe, efficient operation of the plant. It will operate the plant processes during steady:state and abnormal conditions. It will monitor and operate rotating equipment to ensure availability to support the plant processes. It will be responsible for maintain a clean work environment. This position has a 12 hour rotating shift and must be available for call out, which includes the rotating "call out" duty.
ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES
:
Monitor and care for equipment to prevent uninterrupted process operations.
:
Perform minor and preventive maintenance care.
:
Manage the process operations to meet or exceed productions goals.
:
Identify and troubleshoot abnormal operations and respond appropriately.
:
Coordinate or assist in responses to process upsets safely and effectively.
:
Make process adjustments in coordination with the control or outside operator.
:
Optimize process operating costs and productivity for profitability.
:
Work with support groups to identify process bottlenecks and optimization.
:
Fire brigade and emergency response.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
:
At least 6 years of plant operating experience utilizing a DCS operating interface.
:
Operating centrifugal, rotary and reciprocating compressors and pumps, steam and gas turbines and large electric motors.
:
Operating process units such as NGL Treating and Distillation, Mole Sieve and Glycol Dehydration, Membranes, Utilities, Boiler and Cooling Water Treatment.
:
Preparing equipment for maintenance utilizing lockout/tag out and blinding.
Education, Training and Certifications
:
High School education or equivalent. Associates degree preferred.
:
Training and work experience for applicable operations, maintenance, and firefighting preferred
