Regional Sales Manager in Odessa, Texas For Sale

Position Purpose: Responsible for building and maintaining relationship with customer accounts as well as soliciting new accounts and selling all of UVLs services. Regular meeting and presenting UVLs logistical services to potential customers offering a variety of solutions to their transportation needs. Working with and through other departments to analyze and provide problem resolution to meet customer needs. This position will be responsible for promoting and selling company services in accordance with sales policies and procedures, and in pursuit of established goals and objectives to meet companys initiatives for each budgeted year. Roles & Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a strong and positive customer/supplier relationship through timely and consistent communication with the customer. Target and manage new market share gain opportunities for area of responsibility using the established sales process and methodology. Participate in regular reviews of the sales funnel and sales process for each major opportunity. Target and manage sales calls for the top opportunities within region. Schedule regular customer operations reviews coordinating with operations, safety, etc. Achieve revenue, growth and profitability targets for area of responsibility. Actively identify, pursue and gather market intelligence for customers total transportation budget spend for additional opportunities within area of responsibility and existing customer base. Prepare and submit required reports in a clearly worded and timely manner. Provide pertinent customer end market information as required. Skills and Qualifications At least 5+ years professional selling and specification experience within the transportation services industry, preferably oil and gas. Bachelors Degree in Sales, Marketing or related area a positive but not necessary. Experience with asset-lite business model and working with agent network. Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with all internal and external parties in evaluating and completing deals. Ability to plan, schedule, and organize work priorities and objectives with minimal support or daily direction Excellent oral/written communication skills and ability to communicate to all levels in an organization. Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills. Interpretation of market conditions and future market trends. Understanding of risk analysis and assessment coupled with the highest level of integrity and sound business judgment. Strategic and analytical thinker. Follow-through, assume responsibility and use good judgment. Maintain professionalism under stressful situations. Communicate effectively and diplomatically with internal and external customers and other UVL network associates both orally and in writing. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
