Express Employment Professionals Midland, TX (Online Job Posting) Job Title: Leasing Consultant Location: The Midland, TX Area Leasing Consultant Express Employment Professionals of Midland, TX is currently seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant to for an apartment complex in the Midland, TX area. The ideal Candidate will preferably have a minimum of six months leasing experience or a minimum of six months experience in a customer service position such as retail sales, real estate sales, hospitality, etc. This Candidate must have a strong attention to deal, strong sales ability, basic computer skills, and excellent customer service skills. Pay Rate: $15.00 an hour Location: The Midland, TX Area Monday Friday: 9:00 A.M 6:00 P.M & Saturday 9:00 A.M 6:00 P.M or 10:00 A.M 5:00 P.M ( Saturday's are required however the associate will be given either Tuesday or Thursday off each week .) Job Summary: The Leasing Consultant will primarily be responsible for the leasing and marketing of the complex, maintaining a positive resident relationship, processing application and preparing leases. The Leasing Consultant will report to the Property Manager , Assistant Property Manager , and/or Regional Property Manager and will be expected to efficiently greet prospective tenants as well as performing qualification checks by asking questions and utilizing completed guest cards. Other responsibilities including but not limited to immediately recording all telephone and in-person traffic reports, filling own guest cards, taking prospective tenants on property tours, highlighting amenities (i.e. pool, club room, etc.), closing the sale, and updating unit availability reports on a daily basis. Essential Duties: " Informing the Property Manager of qualified/unqualified applicants " Preparing leases & accurately completing the appropriate paperwork on a timely basis " Ensuring the unit is completely ready by the agreed move-in date " Conducting property orientations for new residents (turning over keys, reviewing property rules, regulations & procedures, reviewing amenities, etc.) " Accepting rental payment & posting rent to the computer (No cash is accepted at any time) " Following up on renewal notices " Distributing all company or property issued-notices " Maintaining accurate monthly commission sheet on leases & renewals for bonus purposes " Regularly contacting apartment seekers and informing them of rental rates & specials " Reviewing market survey/analysis on a continual basis to general ideas & formulate plans " Handling telephone calls & in-person contact " Ensuring all maintenance repairs are handled satisfactorily by contacting residents with completed work orders on a daily basis. Requirements : ? High School Diploma or Equivalent ? Minimum of Six Month Customer Service Experience ? Ability to operate fax machine, computer, property, copy/scanner machine and business calculator ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills ? Good problem solving and analytical skills Must be able to work hours scheduled with some flexibility ? Strong attention to detail ? Basic phone operating skills (answering, transferring, and conferencing calls) ? Basic computer skills with knowledge of basic software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) ?
