Job Description
A growing oilfield services company is looking for a skilled Accounting Manager.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
• Responsible for implementing, monitoring and enhancing accounting procedures and internal controls
• Supervise accounting personnel
• Oversee all AP/AR functions
• Handle new vendor and customer paperwork and credit references
• Review monthly P&L and Balance Sheet statements
• Account reconciliations
• Perform all month-end general ledger entries, accruals and adjustments
• Track new and existing assets
• Handle special projects as requested
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required
• Prior working experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred
• Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and oral communications skills with all levels within the company
• Highly dependable individual with ability to work independently
• Detail oriented and very organized
• Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities
• QuickBooks knowledge a plus
